Hi Everyone,
I'd like to welcome all the new subscribers we have to the newsletter this month. We're blowing up Facebook with all our new tours, and we have heaps of new women who have signed up to be a part of the tribe. Welcome!
I have so much fun scouring the Internet and collating stories to put into this newsletter. I hope you like the variety of stories I'm able to collect, and it's my sincere hope that at least one of them touches you in some way and puts a smile on your face. Check out the Super Mamika story mid-newsletter...that story just puts a big fat smile on my face and I hope it does yours, too.
Speaking of Super Women, below I also have a link to an article on Genevieve Schmitt...she's being inducted into the Las Vegas Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Genevieve is a pioneer in the women and motorcycling space, an icon in the industry. She has been both a friend and mentor to me, and has always been a big supporter of whatever I do in the motorcycle industry--from journalism to tours to events to training programs. So Congrats Genevieve - and well done!

Retired Air Force Medic Surprised With Gift of New HARLEY-DAVIDSON Motorcycle
Retired Air Force medic, Lisa Benjamin, was honored with a Harley-Davidson Model Year 2018 Street Glide Special powered by the new Milwaukee Eight Engine. The surprise moment was part of MISSION: "THANK YOU" – a cross-country tour led by Adam Sandoval to celebrate the men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom.
Lisa Benjamin enlisted after the 9/11 attacks and served as an Aeromedical Evacuation Medic in the Air Force. She was deployed in Iraq in 2003 – before she was even truly eligible to deploy she was sent as a replacement for an injured crew member where after only six months of training she stepped up and excelled. Serving more than eight years, she deployed to Iraq, Germany and flew rescue missions when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.
Every American can nominate a military member - past or present - who has dedicated their life to protecting our freedom by submitting their story of sacrifice, strength and courage of service at MissionThankYou.com. A panel consisting of Adam Sandoval, Wounded Warrior Project representatives and Harley-Davidson leadership will select which seven other deserving military members will be honored with new motorcycles.
