TAG is Meeting this week!
Wednesday the 27th from 3:30-5:00!                                                     Refreshments will be served and there will be a prize drawing!

TAG is comprised of tweens, teens and young adults who assist library staff in creating captivating programs! TAG also provides staff with feedback on the library’s teen collections, contribute website ideas, write book reviews, create teen-oriented displays to promote reading, provide input on the creation of inviting teen-spaces at the library and much more.

Teens and young adults join TAG for many reasons: to meet other people, to share a love of books, to gain leadership experience to list on university and scholarship applications, to receive credit for volunteering, and – above all – to have a direct voice in shaping the type of library they envision for themselves and their peers.

We are always looking for new members. Our members are from local public and private schools and some are homeschoolers. We also have some members in leadership positions who are college-age students.

Want some leadership experience of your own? We will tell you all about how to become a TAG Officer at this meeting. No prior TAG attendance or experience required! Hope you see you there!
