Epcot turns 35 this Sunday!
Celebrate this milestone occasion at Epcot on Sunday 1st October,
where park visitors can enjoy some special celebrations.
 
35th Anniversary Celebration

A special celebration will be held at the Fountain View stage with performances from Mariachi Cobre and Voices of Liberty.
Special Edition IllumiNations: 
Reflections of Earth Fireworks


Conclude Epcot's anniversary with a special edition of the park's night-time fireworks show.
35th Anniversary Merchandise

A retro-inspired merchandise collection has been designed for this special occasion. It has a vintage look and features colours from the original five colours used at EPCOT Center.

If you can’t make it to Epcot that day, don’t worry, Disney has you covered. You can always shop using the Disney Parks app.
 
“I Was There”Collection

Guests visiting Epcot on 1st October will have the chance to grab anniversary merchandise as a part of the “I Was There” collection. Items in this collection will be available only at a pop-up shop, which will be open for one day only (while stocks last).


Fans of Figment will be delighted to find several items with the lovable purple dragon.

Guide Map


Be sure to pick up a commemorative Epcot Guidemap and Times Guide on your way into the park. They’ll be available at the park’s Main Entrance, at International Gateway and Guest Relations.
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Until 13th November

Epcot's Food and Wine festival will also be carrying on throughout the day of the 35th anniversary celebrations, so guests have the chance to sample some amazing food and drinks around the world. 

This year the festival has 35 Marketplace booths in honour of Epcot’s anniversary!
  • Epcot is Walt Disney World's second theme park and is the second largest Disney theme park in the world.
  • The park took three years to build and at the time was the largest construction project on Earth.
  • Its name was originally an acronym for "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow”, a utopian city of the future planned by Walt Disney.
  • Epcot spans 300 acres and is more than twice the size of Magic Kingdom.
  • The park is split into two areas, Future World and World ShowcaseFuture World focuses on technology and innovations. World Showcase celebrates Walt’s belief that the more people know about each other, the more connected they will feel.
  • Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Journey into Imagination and The American Adventure are just some of the attractions that have been at Epcot since the beginning.
