Everyone is Welcome to Participate!

The Park in the City Committee encourages local residents, businesses and schools to participate in the upcoming Fall Community Clean Sweep Day on Saturday, October 14^th, 2017. 

Each year, the Park in the City Committee organizes two Community Clean Sweep Day events (one in spring and one in fall).  Both Clean Sweep events organize volunteers to help pick-up litter from local parks, trails and boulevards throughout the City. This is a great opportunity for students to acquire their community service hours or for residents to show their civic pride. 

For this year’s Fall Community Clean Sweep Day event, volunteers are to pre-register online at niagarafalls.ca/cleansweep.  All registered volunteers are to meet at Oakes Park by 10:00am to acquire cleaning supplies.  Volunteers are able pick a public area they feel needs to be cleaned.   

The event is rain or shine.  Volunteers are to dress according to the weather.
