Please join us at our Open Meeting at The Barn on Friday 6th October 7-9pm for a little business but mostly to celebrate our recent achievements with refreshments. We would especially like to thank our amazing volunteers and supporters - so please do come along!

Barn bookings are taking off! Children’s parties are lining up for weekend slots, music sessions for pre schoolers are planned for September, a new singing group meets every Thursday and two fitness sessions are underway. Several yoga groups are about to begin and tai chi is also a distinct possibility!
So, if you are planning to run something at the Barn, wish to use it for a meeting or want to find out more about using this community space, get in touch through our website here
The Barn needs regular cleaning and for the time being this is being done by a volunteer rota. Cleaning involves working with one other person for about an hour every four weeks and we could do with 3 or 4 more people to help out
Organise free training for our volunteers, including yourself: first aid, safeguarding, DBS checks
Have fun helping us create some special community events this year - planning, design and programming, taking on a start part like the teas...
If you know of anyone with qualifications or experience of acoustics, we would love to pick their brains about how to make the Barn an even better acoustic experience
Please show a little community spirit by printing this newsletter and popping through the letterbox of a neighbour or two, who you know live alone or don’t get out much.
