Get Ready to Rock and Roll Into Fall!
Fall equals fundraising and boy, do we have some FUNdraisers for you! From a Karma Hour at Bristol, to a Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament, and everything in between...we're ready to raise funds for our 2018 programs! Check out the info below to sign up for or attend a fundraiser, or just donate online!
Speaking of rolling... recently UpaDowna made the trek to visit our good friends at Shaboomee SUP in Carbondale, CO, and came home with an AMAZING, new-to-us ADVENTURE BUS! This baby will not only haul gear (like bikes and stand up paddleboards) to events, but will also serve as a mobile adventure library and education center! Come check it out TOMORROW during our meet & greet event and share any ideas with us on how to make it an awesome addition to our community!

Folk'n'Flannel Recap!
 We had a blast at this year's Folk'n'Flannel! The bands were amazing, the food was great, the beer was cold, and the weather was beautiful for our adventures the next day! Thank you to all of our sponsors, bands, and volunteers for making this event possible, and to all of our amazing guests, we LOVED seeing you all have fun in the mountains! Karma Hour @ Bristol Brewing
Join us for a night of beer drinking and fund raising at Bristol Brewing Company on Tuesday, Oct., 24th from 5-9pm! During that time, $1/beer goes back to UpaDowna! Be sure to get over there to check out their new cans as well! Huge thanks to Bristol Brewing for having us come out!

Meet our new 3rd Sat. Adventure Program Leader, Mark Bowers! Mark recently joined the UpaDowna team after spending most of his professional career working at residential summer camps, most recently running an Outdoor Education and Retreat program for the YMCA. He hopes to use his experience as a program director, and passion for the outdoors, to help grow UpaDowna and support our amazing mission. He is an avid rock climber, and also enjoys hiking, and backpacking.

- Tue. Oct. 17th, 6:00-8:00pm UpaDowna Meet & Greet- Come and meet the UpaDowna Staff, Board Members and Volunteers! Learn how to get more involved, explore our Basecamp and Library/Museum of Adventure, also hear about our program plans for 2018! Snacks and beer provided!
- Sat. Oct. 21st, 10am-12pm: 3rd Saturday Adventure- Haunted Hike on Intemann Trail. We'll go about 3 miles out and back to the Crystal Valley Cemetery to find Ms. Emma Crawford's Memorial. Learn the history of her burial(s) and why the Emma Crawford coffin races take place every year!
- Tue. Oct. 24th, 5-9pm: Karma Hour at Bristol Brewing Co. in the Ivywild School.
