Hearing Father's Voice: So many Christians, including leaders, struggle hearing Father's voice. I find them everywhere. Yet Jesus died, not primarily that we should live a more righteous life (though crucial), but that we would be restored to fellowship with Father, the first thing we lost when Adam sinned. That fellowship includes hearing His voice, moving in His power, learning His ways and His heart. Don't let anyone steal this from you! If you struggle hearing His voice, please get help.

John 10: 27-28 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
I frequently meet with Christians, even leaders, who have never heard God speak to them. If they do listen for God to speak, what they hear they don’t trust, think it’s their own imagination, and dismiss what they hear with frustration or contempt. A mild despair, and a grumpy faith is often the result. This should not be! Like seed cast on rocky ground, Satan quickly steals the seed, making it unfruitful. The seed is the Word of God, what Jesus the Word says to us.
