Global High Level Panel on Water and Peace, Geneva
The ISW was present in Geneva last week at the launch of the Global High-Level Panel Report on Water and Peace. The report, entitled A Matter of Survival, aims to strengthen the global framework for preventing and resolving water-related conflicts. The authors conclude, "the global water challenge is not just a human rights or development issue, but one of peace and security. Therefore, it is urgent to involve all actors in a global and integrated manner, from the UN Security Council to local institutions." Young Central Asian water champions mobilized by the ISW were at the event. They had the opportunity to share their message with panel representatives and 300 members of the public.

Our Commitment To Youth
Young people have the biggest investment in a sustainable future. They will have to live with the consequences of our actions today. Isn't it only essential and fair that they have their say right now?
The ISW-SWE's mission is to support youth who want to get involved for water. We will provide them with the tools to be effective ambassadors for water, as well as sustainable development. We are determined to mobilize youth to take action for water around the world.
Our Board of Directors has approved our 2017-2022 Youth Strategy. Stay tuned for a launch annoucement in the near future.
