Happy September!

Thank you for your donation to Seed to Mountain Ministries. Your partnership fuels the work of this ministry and we can't wait for you to see how you have helped move mountains this month!

In September, we have worked on moving our two mountains: one in Kampala, Uganda and one in Nashville, Tennessee. From our sock hop fundraisers to the first musical rehearsals, this month has been INCREDIBLE! Read on to find out more about the progress of the musical and the refugee center!

The students at Tom Joy Elementary School in Nashville, Tennessee have had three in-school rehearsals so far as well as auditions for lead roles. Their musical talent continues to impress all who are watching.
If you contributed to the Nashville mountain then your money paid for the scripts which they received last week! There was tremendous joy and elation in the room when they opened their professional booklets. They immediately began rehearsing their lines! It is because of YOU that these children got to receive their first script ever and experience the responsibility that comes with practice and memorization. One student Kylie said "Ever since getting my script, I practice every single night. I count down the days till Thursday because all I can think about is the musical!"

Our work in Uganda is progressing due to your generous monthly donation and the three fundraisers during September! Our fundraisers are called "Sock Hops" which are swing dances on Music Row here in Nashville! With a lesson at the beginning, these events are perfect for anyone who enjoys dancing. Since we are still finishing paying off the last installment of the land in Kampala, these fundraisers are crucial to the moving of our Uganda mountain. The money raised from admission to the dance (after a portion is given to the rental space) goes straight to the building of the refugee center.
If you contributed to the Uganda mountain then your money has been sent to Florence Dongo who pays the land owner directly. We are so appreciative for your devotion to expanding our positive reach in Uganda!
