York Region Public Health is pleased to invite you to participate in a free You’re the Chef Train-the-Trainer Cooking Workshop

Nutrition and Health Protection staff from York Region Public Health will be providing a food literacy train-the-trainer workshop for staff from organizations who lead or are planning to start community-based cooking programs for children, youth and adults. Participants will learn how to lead an interactive program focused on cooking and safe food handling skills. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave feeling inspired to teach their clients how to prepare simple, seasonal, and affordable recipes with sustainable ingredients.

Participation will be limited to the first 16 registrants.
Participants must be currently running or planning to run a cooking progam in York Region.
