VENUE SPOTLIGHT -

Cranberry Highlands
Golf Course

Opened in 2002, Cranberry Highlands is one of the premier public golf courses in western Pennsylvania and was voted “Best Municipal Golf Course” in 2009 by Golf Digest. This par-70 championship all-bent grass layout features multiple tees, ample fairways and large undulating greens. Designed by Bill Love, it is one of Butler County’s newest courses. Two putting greens, grass tee driving range and practice bunker complete the outdoor amenities. The clubhouse includes a full-service golf shop, pub and grill, banquet room and meeting facilities.

Cranberry Highlands has also been designated by Audubon International as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.  This honorable designation affirms that the golf course has maintained a high degree of environmental quality in a variety of areas such as planning, wildlife and habitat management, education, reduced chemical use, water quality management and more. Add Cranberry Highlands to your "must play list".

Did You Know?
"Using your body for power will help your golf swing?  Every good golfer knows that power comes from the body, not the arms. To learn to power the club with your body instead of your arms and hands, put the club behind the ball at address, with your body in a dead-stop position. Without taking a backswing, try to drag the ball into the air.  Once you start moving the club with your body, you'll begin to get the ball in the air more consistently. This helps you turn fully through the ball on the downswing."
