IGT (formerly GTECH, formerly Spielo) was founded in 1990 in Moncton, designing and manufacturing Video Lottery Terminals (VLT’s) for government regulated lottery markets. Spielo was acquired by GTECH, the global leader in on line Lottery, in 2004. Lottomatica, the largest lottery operator in Italy, acquired GTECH in 2006 and rebranded as GTECH. GTECH then acquired IGT, the global leader in Casino products, in 2014 and the company rebranded as IGT.

IGT’s global sales are over $5B US and operates in over 100 countries with over 12,000 employees and spends $340 M US annually on R&D.

IGT’s Moncton office has over 350 employees and is responsible for creating VLT games and central control systems for the global government regulated gaming market.
