A Word From the Pastor...
Good Afternoon Parkview Family,
What a joy to be back with you this coming Sunday. Sunday is my favorite day because I am able to spend it in praise of the one who gave His life for me with my wonderful family and awesome church. I love to engage God's Word, and this Sunday we are able to explore and engage being "Super Conquerors" because we belong to Christ. In the book of Romans, we gain confidence and hope because we know that we are "more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us." I can't wait for us to gather together Sunday and find out more about how we can apply the Word of God to our daily lives. Join me this Sunday with open and expectant hearts. God has so much for our church family and it's my desire as your pastor, that we get every bit that He intends for us to receive each time we're together studying His word.
We have some very tangible ways to begin aiding in the Hurricane Relief effort. I am thrilled that we are partnering with our school to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the days and weeks to come. Read below for all the details of our relief efforts and other big announcements.

Hurricane Relief, September 26-28
We are so blessed to be partnering with our school to fill a trailer with much needed items to help aid in the hurricane relief efforts for the Guadalupe Baptist Association. Bro. Mike Hardaway and Huey Beason will be leaving October 4th to deliver our collection. They will also take any financial gifts to the Guadalupe Baptist Association that you would like to give. Deadline for any financial gifts is Sunday, October 1st. Please designate any checks or envelopes with Disaster Relief. You may drop off your items at the trailer parked behind the Student Center during the drop off times.
We are collecting ONLY the following new items:
Bottled Water
Paper Towels
Clorox Wipes
Diapers
Baby Wipes
Drop off times:
Tuesday - Thursday, 7:30 AM-8:30 AM and 2:30 PM -3:30 PM, or
Wednesday, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Joint Adult Sunday School, October 1, 9:45 AM
We are constantly upgrading and improving our facilities. One of our latest upgrades is with our chiller systems (air conditioning). In order to complete the work, our A/C systems will be down in the buildings where we have adult Sunday School on Sunday, October 1.
We are thrilled to take this opportunity to have a joint adult class in the Sanctuary where we will hear a special message from Dr. Tommy Middleton, Executive Director of Missions. We will serve breakfast in the hall and cafe area. This will be a great time of fellowship so please make plans to attend.
