Official Notice: Calling for Board Nominees.
The APA board is up for election this December for the 2018-2019 term. Are you interested* in running for the board? Please submit a letter of intent via email or mail by November 19. All nominees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves at our meeting in November. Are you unsure about running but interested in getting involved? The membership, public relations, and ASA committees could use your help. Email us for more information!

*Nominees must be licensed to practice acupuncture or oriental medicine in PA and be an APA member of the APA in good standing. Student nominees must be enrolled in an acupuncture school or program and be a student member in good standing.

On November 8th the ASA will be in Washington DC to educate lawmakers, organizations and the press about the findings of the White Paper Acupuncture’s Role in Solving the Opioid Epidemic.

You can support this national effort by inviting your congressional representatives to attend. Then encourage your colleagues to do the same by forwarding this email and posting on social media.
