Register Now: Part 2 of the National Viral Hepatitis Action Plan Priority Populations Webinars

Last week, over 300 participants joined us for the first webinar highlighting the specific issues and personal experiences of populations facing a disproportionate burden of hepatitis B and/or hepatitis C infection. Next week on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 3:00 – 4:30 PM EDT, the second webinar in this series will feature speakers from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), as well as perspectives from members of the priority populations and health care professionals who work with them including:

  • Baby boomers,
  • American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN),
  • Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI),
  • African Americans, and
  • Pregnant women

We are excited to continue this effort to feature personal stories of people who have lived and/or supported patients with viral hepatitis to increase awareness and enhance understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and strengths of these populations, strengthen engagement, and facilitate important conversations as part of our national efforts to meet the goals described in the National Viral Hepatitis Action Plan.

The webinar is open to the public, so please register early and share information about the webinar with your networks! Register for this webinar.
