It’s almost the end of the year which means that it’s time for year-end functions and parties. Our venue creates a unique setting for all manner of merriment, from smaller, more intimate celebrations, to bigger gatherings that accommodate all members of staff. The venue can seat 100 guests (if a sit-down meal is served) but can fit up to 220 guests if no formal seating is required. We also have a spacious outside entertainment area surrounded by a lush green lawn if you prefer to have your event during the day. Interested? ReedValley will be taking part in wine.co.za’s #tastesunshine event which will (possibly) be the world’s largest tasting of South African wines! South African cuisine has been greatly influenced by the Portuguese. This influence is particularly visible in the wide variety of spices used in our cooking; spices that we will use to prepare our famous prego rolls this Heritage Day. On the braai, we will also have fresh sardines (if available), that we will be serving with crusty ciabatta, olive oil and rocket, as well as our Portuguese fire salad.

We've just finished putting another 2 hectares under grape vines. We can't wait for the first harvest. Here our vines are resting with their roots in the water while the rest is being planted.
