Come visit my studio this weekend!

Saturday & Sun, 11-5 both days
722 Sage Place, Longmont

This weekend, Sept 23rd & 24th, is the 2017 Longmont Studio Tour.  I am one of 57 artists in Longmont who will have their studios open to the public.  It's a great chance to see what people are working on, talk to the artists in a relaxed setting, hear the stories behind the art, and buy art directly from the people who made it, rather than paying gallery commissions.  Many artists (including me) do demonstrations as well.

I will have pieces for sale ranging from $500 down to $5,
including many items under $25!

I will also be doing a drawing for a
FREE Play-Shop!

Here are some of the things I've been working on recently;

Recent large pieces:
(left to right) Wheels of the World, (inspired by a traditional Irish tune,) That's How the Light Gets In, (from a Leonard Cohen song,) and Corona (inspired by the eclipse.)

Recent smaller pieces
(clockwise from top left)
Song of Songs, (caulk, paint, plaster, gold thread, handmade paper,)
Annunciation, (aluminum, signboard scraps, house-paint,) and
Telegram from the Trees, (dried catalpa pods, photographs of national parks, watercolor.)

Little Bits and Gifty Things:
(top to bottom)
Small contemplative drawings, kaleidoscopic photographs, little sculptures made from recycled materials, and palm-size "stone" hearts, which are made from recycled egg cartons and house-paint.

Please stop by this weekend, see these
and lots of other fun things!
11-5 both days, at 722 Sage Place, Longmont.
