The opening of Austin's New Central Library is right around the corner. I hope you'll join us on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Tell us you're coming to the grand opening by adding our Facebook event to your calendar and by using #NewCentralLibrary and #APLambassador.
Here's something else you can add to your calendar: a sneak preview of the new Central Library! We're thrilled to host a group of Social Media Ambassadors at the new Central Library days before it officially opens to the public. Help us kick off our next chapter as only you can on social media. You'll be able to take pictures, post, tweet, gram, heart, like or react with as many wow emojis as we bet you'll need once you see the building from the inside.
The sneak preview is a FREE yet ticketed event on Sunday, October 22, 1 - 3 PM. We are issuing 50 online tickets – first come, first served. One ticket admits 1 APL Social Media Ambassador + up to 3 friends/family members. The new Central Library has an entire floor for youth. Bring the kids! Here's how to claim a ticket:
