I am thrilled to officially announce my intention to run for re-election in Senate District 5. 

It has been an honor and privilege to serve the high country by representing its people and communities in the Colorado State Senate. I will keep fighting for bipartisan solutions to create good-paying jobs, lower healthcare costs, and protect our way of life. 

When I was first elected to the Senate, I made it a point to carry bills that would make the lives of my constituents better and not carry bills solely written by special interest groups. I'm proud of my record of standing up for the Western Slope and Upper Arkansas Valley, and can’t wait to keep up the work to make sure every Coloradan has a chance to pursue their dreams.

To kick off my re-election campaign, I'll be visiting all seven counties in SD5 on a #2022ToDo tour. At each stop I hope to hear from you and listen to your ideas for the next five years.
