October 14, 2017 – Tarrytown, NY

For more than 75 years, the Wyckoff Association has hosted regular reunions to bring together Wyckoff descendants from all over the country.  These reunions are a great opportunity to meet cousins near and distant, network, socialize, and travel somewhere new.

On Saturday, October 14, 2017, Wyckoffs near and far will gather in nearby Tarrytown, NY for a one-day reunion, exploring our Wyckoff family and Dutch history and heritage. Cousins will  gather for a family picnic at Washington Irving’s Sunnyside with an option to tour the author’s famed 19th-century home.  Located on the riverfront in the Historic Hudson Valley, with a strong Dutch footprint in the 17th-century, Sunnyside evokes Washington Irving’s romanticized view of colonial New York and nature with bucolic gardens and colonial styled architecture. Our reunion will include a family gathering, sharing family stories, annual members meeting, and lunch.

Registration ($15 adult; $10 child) includes a picnic lunch and optional private tour of the Washington Irving's Sunnyside home ($10 adult; $6 child).

For more information and to register through October 10 on our website.

For more questions you can call or email Melissa: 718 629-5400.

OPEN HOUSE NEW YORK
CELLAR-TO-ATTIC

We will be opening up our cellar and attic to the public on Sunday October 14 from 12-4pm. Enjoy a rare opportunity to see the attic of a 17th-century Dutch colonial dwelling, featuring original timbers. Get a sneak peek at the 18th century root cellar, where staple foods would have been preserved through the winter. Guided tours will be offered at 1pm and 3pm. Wyckoff cousins are welcome to gather and picnic together on our grounds.

Sunday, October 15, 12-4pm, FREE
