We're sailing again this Friday! We won the Mayors award for Access through Sports!!

We're sailing again on Friday, 6th October. Our next session will be on the 20th October and will be our final session of this season.

In other news. A few sessions ago we were visited by the Deputy Mayor and a representative from the Guildford Access group to assess what we do at Papercourt. We had been nominated by the group itself for the Mayor's 'Access through Sports' award (more details at https://www.guildford.gov.uk/article/19592/The-Mayor-s-Award-for-Access-). I'm happy to report that I received an email last night that we've won the award! The awards ceremony is on Tuesday 17th October at 630pm at Park Barn Adult Day Care Centre, Park Barn Drive, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 8EN. If you'd like to come along then please let me know how many people you'll be, I need to know by 12th October if you want to attend. The only info I have is that it's a short ceremony (confirmed at 2 hrs!) with light refreshments. It would be excellent to have some of you with us to celebrate and receive the award.

As normal, you can arrive any time from 1pm and we'll start sailing at 1:30pm. Please don't feel you have to arrive at 1pm, there's often a queue for registration - so feel free to arrive a bit later to avoid the queues.
