Dear Friend,

 

Wishing you had a great holiday season, we are back with most likely the most complete S3 Newsletter ever, since we started publishing our quarterly bulletins in 2011.

Although also in exports we have an interesting contribution about new sales point for our wines in Changsha, it is – as has been the tendency the last few years – mainly the area of sourcing that has generated the majority of news items.

But similarly in the field of management teaching there has been a lot of activity, with new agreements – including with the Autonomous University of Barcelona – all of which we will highlight in this edition of the S3 Newsletter.

Technical mission to China and interview for B-UIC Magazine

The most relevant news of the 3rd quarter was the technical coordination and development mission to China by Miguel Angel Burges, head of sourcing operations.
We will also highlight the interview given for the magazine of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of UIC.
 

Visits to industrial partners, new deliveries and... the Emmy Awards!

 

Both representatives of our company as several new customers made technical missions to China during the previous quarter.
More deliveries of materials were done and... we will highlight our own contribution to the ceremony at which the biggest TV stars in America are being honoured, the Emmy Awards.
 

 

More teaching activity: UAB, ESADE and GBS


Lots of news in terms of management teaching initiatives: new programmes, new classes and even company visits!

 

 
New sales point for Cave de Pierre in Changsha, Hunan

 

We will comment on a new initiative of one of wine distributors in China, namely the opening of a new store and wine tasting space in Changsha.

Keynote speech during the closing ceremony at the UAB


 

Our cooperation with the Autonomous University of Barcelona to host interns at our Barcelona has let us to give this year's Keynote Speech during the closing ceremony of the official Master's Program in Translation, Interpretation and Intercultural Studies.

 
Trends in the Chinese e-commerce industry

The rapid speed at which e-commerce is evolving in China makes it compulsory to have an in-depth look a the industry and identify its main trends.
 
Something entirely different... 

We finish our ranking of the most favorable characters in Chinese, but we also contribute a last minute news item: an interview given on Belgium's National TV about the impact on business and economy of the current political situation in Catalonia.
