Please join us for a webinar hosted by the Invasive Mussel Collaborative to discuss approaches to watercraft inspections and decontamination for zebra and quagga mussels (Dreissena polymorpha and D. rostriformis bugensis, respectively). This webinar will continue an examination of watercraft inspection and decontamination programs, focusing on voluntary programs within the Great Lakes region. The webinar will feature presentations by:

The Invasive Mussel Collaborative is working to advance scientifically sound technology for invasive mussel control to produce measurable ecological and economic benefits. The Collaborative provides a framework for communication and coordination, identifying the needs and objectives of resource managers, prioritizing supporting science, developing communication strategies, and aligning science and management goals into a common agenda.
