Fetish Factory Gallery Features Portraits by Elizabeth Waterman
This year’s Fetish Factory Weekend, a renowned BDSM event hosted each year in Florida by Fetish Factory, has a special gallery featuring portrait photographer Elizabeth Waterman’s work, described in the past as “stark and lascivious, both deeply human and unsettlingly anonymous.”
The gallery which was released this month takes Waterman’s love for myth, icon, and ritual and places it where the public can see it. The photographer captures what she has seen behind the lens when fully immersed in the secret world of BSDM (Bondage, Domination, Sadism, and Masochism). Although many of Waterman’s photos are faceless, each tells a story about the person or people who are in it.
Waterman’s art photography has been featured in galleries in New York City and Sydney as well as renowned L’Oeil de la Photographie online magazine and online auction house Artnet. Her ongoing project documenting exotic dancers, Dark Angels, is slated for release as a book in 2019.
Interested parties who want to view Waterman’s gallery online can do so by visiting this link.
