When I had the idea of a 25 year show I knew it had to be a celebration of Bristol, a realisation of the connections that has made this such an inspiring and amazing city to live and work in.

It started with a conversation with B24/7 who will be launching their social impact agenda at my show in a very Bristol foody kind of way with their Autumn Feast.

I am super excited that Three Cane Whale have agreed to play a special concert as part of the show, details below, for me their music is steeped in location, you can feel the bones of the landscape, it’s rich. Whether it’s a mountain pass, a chapel or under a Bristol flyover, you can feel it in the music as it sails you away.

Ten years ago, Graham and I started the Bristol Drawing School and it has continued to thrive in it's new home at the Royal West of England Academy. I'll be talking to RWA director, Alison Bevan about drawing and the inspiration behind the school on Friday 17th November.

Details of all events are below, happy days….see you soon!

Three Cane Whale

Bristol based acoustic trio, Three Cane Whale will be playing on Tuesday 14th November. Described as ‘Exquisite, elegant, atmospheric and charmingly quirky’ by The Guardian, their music shares similar influences as Carol Peace’s work and this event promises to be a fascinating journey through the landscape of the west country and beyond.
