At the quarterly HoTPCA board meeting, we discussed: Annual Meeting preparations, final edits to the organization bylaws (you will get a chance to vote on these at our Annual Meeting on 11/19), cleaning up our membership database, financial updates, and opportunities to fund more PCV grants (you will also get a chance to vote on these at the annual meeting). Our HoTPCA Annual Potluck is right around the corner!
Save the date for our Annual Meeting and Potluck on Sunday, November 19 at the High Road on Dawson at 1:30-4:00 pm. It's a great opportunity to meet RPCVs, renew or start your membership, hear annual updates, and get excited about next year with good food and warm friendships.
What to bring: A dish to share (see below) and cash or credit card to use for the cash bar, raffle tickets, and to renew your HoTPCA membership.

Want to join the HoTPCA board or serve on a committee?
The HoTPCA general membership will vote to approve a full board roster, see below, for the 2018-2020 term at the Annual Meeting. We are currently recruiting for two open positions: Vice President and Grants Committee Chair. To learn more about what these positions entail, please get in touch with current Vice President Sally Waley (sallywaley@gmail.com or 512-779-1956) or current Grants Committee Chair Vicky Pridgen (vicky.pridgen@gmail.com or 512-815-3397).

With almost 50 individual donors, our 2016 HoTPCA treasurer, Matt Roth, went over goal by raising $2366 for HoTPCA grants on his 2190 mile hike of the Appalachian Trail this summer. Learn more about Matt's journey.

 We have a new order in with sizes S-XL. Shirts are available for a suggested $30 donation at most HoTPCA events or you can reach out to Laura or Michele to coordinate a pickup. Shirts will also be available at the Annual Potluck - while supplies last!

HoTPCA welcomes all RPCVs, applicants, supporters, and community members at our events.
If you want to go one step further, you can become an official member! As a member, your annual dues ($15) will help to fund the ongoing projects of current Peace Corps Volunteers around the world, as well RPCV sponsored projects.
