The University hospital of East Sweden is in the process of re-developing parts of their massive building complex in Linköping. They needed a 3D model with high quality to show and discuss the needed developments. The large project launched earlier this year and was highly profiled in Linköping and covered a total area of 27 hectares. The design was delivered with multiple applications including Spotplanner for rapid testing of new ideas.

CBRE introduces photorealistic models to the German real estate development market. Two initial projects were launched where Spotscale created textured 3D imaging of CBRE developments in the Berlin area. CBRE wanted to show stakeholders the changes that were planned for the areas. The models will be delivered through our interactive web tools, Spotinspection and Spotplanner.

Map the World Panel
InterDrone
|
|
Spotscale Founder Ludvig Emgård was a panelist at the Interdrone conference in Las Vegas last month, discussing the future and current uses of 3D mapping. The panel also had strong advocates for Lidar. The panel soon turned into a playful debate weighing the two against one another. Anyhow, eventually most panelists agreed on the advantages of both of the technologies.
