Thank you for helping us build a more inclusive community for young people. Here's just a snapshot of the memories (70,000 of them) you have helped make so far this year:
22,000 children, youth and families from more than 150 agencies were able to play, create and connect at the Ontario Science Centre;
14 parents were able to send their kids to summer camp for the first time through the Kids’ City Park Project;
100 youth joined a sold-out crowd at the Rogers Centre (floor seats) for the concert of the summer - Coldplay;
175 students reflected on their own education after attending a screening of On the Way to School, a documentary featuring four children from around the world as they make their way to school each day;
4 New Canadians stood proud and sang the National Anthem with a packed stadium at the Canada Day Jays’ game;
1 Big and 1 Little from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto stood witness to a win at a Leafs’ Stanley Cup playoff game;
870 kids had the ultimate fan experience playing and cheering on tennis stars at the Rogers Cup;
40 hearing impaired children and their families from Silent Voice experienced live theatre, interpreted by American Sign Language, on a Pirate Life Toronto adventure;
1,200 families were awestruck by Cavalia – a magical combination of equestrian and theatrical arts;
34 Government-Assisted Refugees from Syria learned to skate, braved a winter hike and enjoyed a campfire sing-a-long at Evergreen Brickworks.
