Greetings MadNorSki Members and Friends:
 
Please join us for a special MadNorSki October meeting on Monday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Yahara Hills Golf Course, 6701 Highway 12, Madison, WI 53718. Look for more details and an agenda coming next week, but we want to get everyone in the loop on some fast-breaking opportunities under development involving your club and the city. Here’s why you should attend:

• The city has completed an upgrade to the golf clubhouse, so it is now heated and available for winter outdoor activities.
• MadNorSki is in discussions with the city regarding mutually beneficial possibilities – facilities use, enhanced grooming, trail layout and more.
• We’d like as many club members as possible to come and check out the Yahara location, which could serve as a long-sought-after East side location to support youth teams and training activities.
• A representative from City Parks will kick off the agenda shortly after we officially convene at 6:45 p.m. to provide an update.
• The club will provide heavy snacks as usual. The city would like to cover the costs of operating the clubhouse during these hours so there will be a cash beverage selection. We know club members are up to this challenge.
