Sanctuary guests often ask us, "What happens to my body after death?" "Who picks up the body and who transports it to Carolina Memorial Sanctuary for the burial service?" "Do I have to go through a funeral home?" These are important questions and we have identified four main taks that need to happen between death and burial. We've even created an infographic to help visualize the steps that are involved.

In their conversation they explore conservation and green burial, cemeteries, and the process of dying. Cassie shares pieces of her recent grief journey and what she has learned about supporting people while they’re grieving.
