Mother Nature flipped the switch from summer to fall in mid-September. The rain and cooler have helped the aerated greens at both courses heal very nicely. Fall weather is usually great for golf, sunshine and moderate temperatures. Both Warm Springs and Quail Hollow are abundant with fall colors during October, we hope you can make it out to both courses this month!

Thanks to all the IGA members who played in the Quail Hollow/Warm Springs 2-Man Best-Ball tournament the weekend of September 16.

Upcoming Tournaments
October 7 & 8 - Fall Classic
Open to all IGA members, field is limited to 80 teams. This 2-Man Best-Ball tournament is played at both Quail Hollow and Plantation Country Club on both days, with 40 teams on each course. Maximum handicap spread between playing partners is 7 strokes, all players must have a current IGA membership. Please register for this event by phoning either the Quail Hollow Pro-Shop at 208-344-7807 or the Plantation Pro-Shop at 208-853-4440
November 4 - Turkey Shoot
Quail Hollow Men's Association will be celebrating the end of the 2017 golf season with the annual Turkey Shoot. The format is 4-person scramble which will have a shotgun start time of 10:00 am. Entry fee is a frozen turkey - no quail or chucker! All turkeys collected will be donated to The Idaho Foodbank. Thanks in advance for your generosity!

October 14 &15 - Match Play Tournament
Open to all members of the Warm Springs Men's Golf Association. Play will consist of 9 hole matches where the Pro-Shop has made pairings for matches. This is a two day tournament
October 28 - Champ of the Year
Participants must qualify for this event, please check with Warm Springs Pro-Shop (208-343-5661) to see if you are eligible to play.
November 11 - Year End Tournament
Open to all members of the Warm Springs Men's and Ladies Golf Association. Pro-Shop will do pairings for this fun scramble format tournament. Year end banquet will follow tournament play
