This email is a one off notification of some upcoming funding deadlines. If you find it useful please let us know and we will consider doing it on a more regular basis.

Help Musicians Transmission Fund
Deadline - 10th November

The Transmission Fund is designed to help you build your career by providing grants of £500 - £1500 to fund opportunities allowing you to focus on developing your artistic and professional development at a crucial point in your career. We can support opportunities such as short courses, workshops, training and time limited periods of coaching with an expert in your field both in the UK or internationally. We know that careers differ, so that crucial point could come when you need to focus on your technique several years after graduating from conservatoire or being on the road with your band.

Two events that didn't quite make it into the main bulletin
Restless Love featuring Meow Meow

7.45pm, 20th November - Fruitmark Glasgow
7.45pm, 22nd November - Queen's Hall

Reinbert de Leeuw: Im wunderschönen Monat Mai
An evocative and intimate reimagining of Schubert and Schumann’s best-loved songs, Restless Love shuns beautiful, melodic singing and, instead, embraces the raw, guttural emotions of love, anger and loss. Arranged and orchestrated by renowned Dutch composer and pianist Reinbert de Leeuw, this powerful work is performed by Hebrides Ensemble led by cabaret diva Meow Meow, who hypnotises, inspires, and terrifies audiences in equal measure. A darkly captivating and entertaining production.

Tickets - £5 to £15
Hebrides Ensemble Composition Seminar with Nigel Osborne
