  • WANTED; volunteers for Nepal Eye Camps. February 2018. Contact PP Winston Quaile 0418 125 245
  • CHANGE OF VENUE; Launceston West now meeting at Riverside Golf Club. Well worth a makeup visit!
  • Ted Richey’s book “The Flying Fisherman” is available from him with a percentage of sale going to Gastroparesis Research
  • Group 7 Forum held in Devonport this week. Another excellent attendance with a good programme arranged by AG Damian Griffin. If you don’t attend your group Forum you are sure to miss a good event!
  • I was delighted to meet 7-year-old William Bickerton from Victoria, in Zeehan on Friday. An enthusiastic “would be” geologist! I am extremely grateful to everyone who made his visit possible – and these were not only Rotarians but willing locals. Rotary; Making a Difference.
  • Sunday 19th November. All Rotarians are invited to the AGM to be held in Longford. This will be followed by the 2ndDistrict Leaders Meeting. Note the date in your diary now!

Gather your books ready for the DG official visit.

Please remember that when a District Governor Tony Colman and Liz visit a Rotary Club, by convention the DG will be the Guest Speaker for that meeting.
