Hello Harvesters!

October is a favorite month for us at Harvest Craft. Its full of apples, various squash, the color orange! Whats not to love?
Besides all that, we have several new and exciting things to share with you so, let's hop to it!

Frogs in Cambodia

At our farm in Cambodia, we recently purchased 1,000 frogs that will be bred and raised to be sold in the market. This will serve as additional economic support to the workers and the farm as a whole.

Who are the new guys?

Brock

As a wizard with numbers and a real stand up guy, Brock has just joined our team as the Director of Finances. With a Masters in Professional Accountancy, he will be influential in helping us acquire grants and maintaining our records.

Martin

Martin recently joined us our Digital Marketing Specialist. He has his degree in Marketing and Economics and will be taking over the administrating of our Social Media presence!

So whats happening with our Peeps?

After some delay due to the array of tropical storms hitting the Caribbean in recent weeks, we finally finished the roof on the chicken house. This means the 3,000 chickens are en route ASAP to their new home here in Haiti. This project is dedicated to determining alternative feed solutions for egg-laying and meat-producing hens, as well as employing locals, at-risk youth, and providing food for the local community.

How was the Party on the Point?

The evening was full of great music and food, where a phenomenal community came together. We got to share the work we've implemented in Cambodia and Haiti and couldn't be more grateful Harvest Craft was able to share our passions and mission. We raised over $4,000 and cannot wait to get to work and cultivate change!
We are deeply thankful to all of our donors, and everyone who took the time to come out and support us! A special thanks goes out to Shawn and Kirk Utley, Susie Gee, Jill Price-Crawley, Linda Harris and St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church
