ABD pre-registration closes tonight!

Dear Pitt Band Alumni and Friends,
 Pre-registration for Alumni Band Day 2017 closes tonight, Wednesday, October 11. If you're planning on attending, please take a moment to register online today if you haven't already.
Although we will accept walk-in registrations at the pregame tailgate from 8:00 to 10:30am on Saturday, October 14, we strongly encourage pre-registration so that we can plan effectively and order enough food and drinks. Additionally, if you need to borrow an instrument for halftime, you must pre-register by tonight so that we can set aside enough instruments to bring on the truck.
Your $25 annual dues (free for first-year alumni) include admission to the ABD tailgate, entrance into the stadium for the game, and a commemorative 106th anniversary pin. Required attire will be a Pitt Band Alumni polo (new ones available for $35, old ones available for $10 but sizes/quantities limited) and khaki pants or khaki shorts. All attendees must check-in at the tailgate between 8:00 and 10:30am.
Pitt Nike apparel offer
Pitt Athletics are currently holding a flash sale on Pitt Nike sport-branded apparel with proceeds benefitting the various teams' Athletic Scholarship Funds. Purchases of Pitt Band-branded T-shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, and more will benefit the Pitt Band Championship Fund. The offer ends tonight, Wednesday, October 11.
Bobblehead update
Lastly, several alumni have asked about the James Conner Bobblehead promotion which will run concurrently with Alumni Band Day at the Homecoming game. Unfortunately, we have just found out from Pitt Athletics that they will not be able to make special arrangements for our attendees to receive the promotional bobbleheads.
We still encourage ABD attendees to participate in our March to Victory beginning at 11:00am on Saturday. As we approach the stadium, those holding their own gameday tickets may depart to enter the stadium through Gate B to receive their bobblehead, and should plan to meet the Alumni Band at our seats in Section 130. Participants who do not hold separate tickets will still enter with the Alumni Band through the northeast service gate, but will not receive a bobblehead.
