 This event is accelerating!
Gary Cargil is the Project Manager, and he says: "I've sent out emails to Fire Chief Langborg, KCST, Siuslaw News. I will use some of my banked radio advertising money to have Mike use at KCST. Siuslaw News will be placing an ad on Saturday October 28th and we will submit a press release for advertising throughout October. See if you can get some posters printed up again for distribution of businesses and service clubs. I am hoping that we can find a Santa this year. I am also hoping that KCST will have their remote broadcasting trailer at the event. I am hoping that the weather will be nice enough to have the cars out." ... Thanx Gary!
I will be posting all over Facebook and putting up Flyers at local businesses.

Rhody Cruise-In - Meeting Minutes
This Cruise-in is becoming really popular. October, We filled up the dining room and and had a way cool car show in the parking lot.
Here are the highlights of the Rhody Cruisers Meeting:
• Discussion about the Rhody Cruisers Jackets. Terri Martin gave us an update of the progress. we are waiting for quotes for embroidery from offshore manufacturers.
• I proposed a change to the 50/50 Rolling Raffle. Rather than have raffle prizes, the 50/50 proceeds will go to funding the purchase of Jacket Patches. The motion was unanimously approved. We need $500 to order 20 patches from our old supplier. Several new members are waiting. The pot gets bigger and the deck gets smaller.
• Bill Files asked about ordering the cast Rhody Cruisers Plaque. I checked and they can be made up at a cost of $28 each or about $30 delivered. Bill had a list of 4 members that want one. we need to order a minimum of 10. eMail me if you want one for your cars, and I will order them.
• Mike Groshong announced an indoor car show in Springfield.

• We discussed and agreed that we would hold the Second Annual Toy Drive. The date is next months Cruise-In November 2, 2017. See Info Above. If you have ideas or want to help, contact me.
• Our Guest Niki Hill from Shorewood Senior Living came by to thank everyone for the great Car Show at their Elvis and Barbecue Party. They put on a terrific Show and Feed.
