Agency Recordkeeping Survey
Survey now closed
The agency recordkeeping survey relating to training practices has now closed.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a response - we had an excellent response rate and the information provided was constructive and will be beneficial moving forward.
We are currently in the process of collating and analysing the information collected. This will help PROV to determine it's direction in developing tools to assist agencies in performing their recordkeeping functions.

The new Hospital Administrative RDA covers administrative functions which are unique to hospitals and health services that support the provision of clinical services to patients. Functions include:
The new Victorian Electoral Functions RDA covers functions which are unique to the administration and management of Victorian State and Council elections, and other referendums and polls under the relevant legislation. Functions include:
Election, referendum and poll management
Registration of electors
Electoral representation and boundaries management
In association with relevant agencies, PROV recently extended 13 RDAs. The extension of these RDAs will assist agencies in meeting their records management requirements & allows for ongoing disposal coverage.

The PROV Director & Keeper of Public Records, Justine Heazlewood, recently gave a presentation at the Independant Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) Conference: Corruption Prevention and Integrity.
The presentation identified links between failures in recordkeeping and misconduct in Government agencies.
