Dear illustration enthusiasts,
Wow, lots of things happened last month:
- My website (including portfolio, blog and shop) has been offline for a few weeks now due to major technical problems, but I'm hoping to get it back online this month. I'm also using a different email for the time being: julia.beutling.illustration (at) gmail (dot) com
- I injured my (non-drawing) hand so badly it had to get stitched, which slows everything down.
- I'm nearing completion of my I-can't-do-anything-but-work-on-client-projects phase that has been going on for so many months now. Which means ahead of me is some much-needed free time and creative freedom, yay!
- By now I'm pretty much settled into my new home and studio. My animals moved in as well and we even have a new family member called Ludwig, former laboratory hamster. Have a picture, because he's cute:

More sketch commission samples
|
|
These sketches were drawn at German Comic Con Berlin, and very happily so. The lioness has lots of anatomy mistakes since I didn't get to use any reference, but I had so much fun drawing them that I simply don't care :)

Some Junicorn-style commiisions that are very dear to the hearts of their respective owners. The first one will become a tattoo °v° the second one is a portrait of an actual horse.

Client projects (final stretch!)

Finishing up the nature comic I've been working on, doing something for a magazine, creating paintings for private clients. And hoping to somehow find the time to create at least a few new Tiny Inklings for #Inktober. We'll see.
