Award: Congratulations to alumna Rachel Baker, who received the 2016 IES Outstanding Predoctoral Fellow Award.

Grant: Thomas Dee was awarded two grants. The first grant is from San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) to study Early Warning Indicators. The second grant is from the Raikes Foundation to study Oakland’s Unified African American Male Achievement program.

Grant: sean reardon was awarded a grant from the Overdeck Family Foundation to expand the Stanford Education Data Archive (SEDA).

Grant: Ben Domingue was awarded a grant as co-PI from the Russell Sage Foundation’s Summer 2017 Programs and Special Initiatives to analyze newly available genomic data from a sample of older adults, the Wisconsin Longitudinal Study, and to examine the role of polygenic scores in influencing educational, occupational and economic outcomes.
