PRAYER NEEDS FOR LIBERIA AND FAIR SHAKE VILLAGE
ELECTIONS TOMORROW
There are over 20 individuals on the ballot for President of Liberia in the elections tomorrow (November 10). These are challenging times and the future needs of Liberia are for meaningful, real change. As one fellow missionary put it: “In this 2017 election, Liberia needs leaders that are humble servants of God and His children. Help me to pray for the fruits of honesty and truth to overcome the deeply ingrained rotten fruit of lust for money and power called corruption that is present not just within our leaders, but within ourselves.” (www.glennsgoglobal.wordpress.com)
MARY BEH HOSPITALIZED
As many of you know Mary Beh, the directress of the MODUC orphanage in Buchanan, please be praying for her health and the home. Apparently she fell over some chairs at the orphanage and “dislocated” her hip. She is in a hospital in Monrovia where she was told that she would need to lie flat on her back for 4 weeks to heal. Esther K. Smith, Mary’s right-hand coworker, is leading at the home in Mary’s absence.
FUNDING FOR GATHERING CENTER
By God’s grace we are now nearly halfway to our $55,000 goal for the 2nd and biggest phase of the Gathering Center construction. We want so much to take advantage of this dry season for this construction so if there is any way you could help with any part of the last $29,000 need, we would appreciate it.
