It’s KAIROS COOKIE TIME!!
CUMC promotes the Kairos Prison Ministry with prayers, letters of encouragement and cookies to be distributed during the three-day Karios weekend when inmates gather to be part of a share and prayer group. YOU can help by baking cookies and delivering them to the kitchen in the Worship Center by Sunday, October 22 for the Women’s Weekend.
All types of cookies are needed – dropped cookies, rolled cookies, etc. – about 2 to 2 1/2” in diameter. Do not make thin crisp cookies as they break and cannot be used. Do not use icing, sugar or any coating - also no fruit or nuts. Wrap cooled cookies in ziptop bags with 12 to a bag. No foil please.
SIX THOUSAND DOZEN cookies are needed EACH weekend!! Monetary donations to “Kairos of South Carolina” are tax deductible. Thank you for your continued support of the women at Leath Correctional Institution and the men at McCormick Correctional Institution!
