Attention Children's Choir Parents: join us in the Conference room during children's choir practice for Sacred Parenting to learn how God uses parenting to shape our souls. Come once or come to all 6 sessions. Contact terri@pvumc.net with questions.

Impact youth meet Sunday night for another week of small group discussions called "Plugged In". Join us!

Common Thread will meet Monday, October 9th in Bldg B, Room 13, 9:30-12:00. Come by and join us. No sewing required. For more info contact Jeanne Scott at 910-231-8204.

Prayer Shawl Team meets Monday, October 9th from 10am to noon in B Building room 1. We are working on shawls and several small projects. Join us if you want to start knitting or crocheting again.

Wednesday Night Supper for the 11th, 5:30 pm CLC Gym: chicken parmesan, side salad, rolls—or—salad bar and baked potato—or—chicken tenders and fries for the kids. Please indicate the number coming on the pew pad. No charge but donations accepted.

Ever49ers meet Tuesday, Oct. 17th, at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The program will be IGNITE Youth Worship Arts. Bring a friend and enjoy the beautiful music of our youth choir. This meal is catered.

Travelers will be going to Mike's Farm in Beulaville Oct. 19. We will depart at 1:00pm. Cost for the dinner, hay ride and bus expenses is $25.00/person. Please make checks out to PVUMC and give them to Oakelee Horrell or the church office by Oct. 15. Sign up sheets and information at the Senior Board in the Fellowship Hall.

UMW Amazing Tag Sale October 28 (Saturday) 8am to 1pm. This is our fund raising event for Missions. Tag sale donations will be accepted at the CLC Gym October 26 from 1pm to 6pm or October 27 from 8am to finish. Pre sale orders for Cinnamon Rolls and Chicken Tortilla Soup continue through Oct 22 in the Fellowship Hall during Connection Cafe 9:15-10:00am or call the church office to place an order. Cinnamon Rolls $9.00/pan, Chicken Tortilla Soup $6.00/quart.

Operation Christmas Child: Information tables are now in the Fellowship Hall and CLC on Sunday mornings with "how to pack" brochures, labels, and shoe boxes. Donation items needed: soap, wash cloths, hair brushes, combs, manicure sets, toothbrushes, socks, and T shirts. Collection boxes are located in the Fellowship Hall and the CLC.

Trunk or Treat is Sunday, Oct 29th from 4:30-7:30. We’ll have games in the Gym, food and cotton candy in the Fellowship Hall, trunk or treating in the parking lot, and bouncy houses. Help by donating peanut-free candy or sign up to host a trunk. Contact terri@pvumc.net for more info or shirley@pvumc.net if you can help serve food. Youth: contact Mrs. Georgiana to help with this event.
