RDA National Champs
At the end of September, our riders and horses made the journey over to Victoria to compete in the RDA National Championships. To make this journey possible, was the support of Combined Horse Transport and the horses enjoyed some recovery time at Wayne Keily's lovely property.
For us at CTRC, we are so proud of our horses and so happy that with Wayne and Combined Horse Transport's help in getting them to Victoria in such great condition, they were able to help their riders achieve such amazing results!

Inspirational Rider Award - Daniel McGrath!
Daniel has been riding with us for about half a year, and the improvement in his abilities have been wonderful to watch.
Since lesson once, he has demonstrated a willingness to listen to instructions, and apply himself to tasks given.
Recently, he was challenged with learning and memorising a simplified dressage test. The interpreters told us he had been practicing it constantly throughout the week between lessons, and recently he was able to ride the test on Apple by himself. He remembered where to go perfectly, then proceeded to do it two more times at a trot without any assistance. Showing great independence, focus and determination.
We are incredibly happy with your progress, and that you've found something that fuels your motivation. Keep up the awesome work Daniel.

Volunteer of the Month - Hugo Spiers
Our volunteer for the month of September is Hugo Spiers! Hugo joined us for a few weeks for work experience block from Perth Waldorf School. Even though he was with us for only a short time, Hugo made a huge impact on everyone that he came across. He cheerfully undertook what ever tasks were asked of him, used his own initiative and made a positive impact upon our centre. Hugo and his fellow schoolmate Trinity were delightful and a credit to their school.
Hugo, we certainly hope you will visit us again, and we look forward to following your future, as we think there are greats to come for you!

Achiever of the Month - Christiane Murdey
Septembers' Achiever of the Month is the lovely Christiane Murdey. Christiane is an example to us all, of the power of positive thinking and is most inspirational in her attitude. It is fabulous that she back enjoying her riding again.
She is pictured here with her regular ride Red Card, who respects her as much as we do!
