Autumn at Must Love Yarn

Although we haven't had much fall-like weather yet, our fall yarns keep rolling in! We have some great tweeds, rustic wools, super soft alpaca, local yarns and rovings, and lots of beautiful indie dyed yarns. Check out our new products here!

Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival was last weekend and it was such a delight! We had so much fun catching up with old friends and meeting new friends! Thanks to everyone who said hi to us, it was such a joy chatting with everyone!

Speaking of festivals, New York Sheep and Wool Festival (commonly known as Rhinebeck) is now just two weeks away! Can you believe it?! Good news, we still have a few seats left on the bus if you were thinking about going, but didn't want to drive all the way down to Rhinebeck. Take the bus with us and you'll have a comfy seat on a fully loaded luxury motor coach and you can knit or crochet or spin your way to Rhinebeck! You can find all of the information about the bus trip here! If you have already registered for the trip, I'll be sending out an email in the next few days with all of the other little details that you might need for the upcoming trip!

With all of that said, we do have two other exciting happenings that deserve highlighting, so keep reading below to see the exciting news!

Knitted Knockers Workshop
Join us tomorrow, Sunday October 8th at 1pm, as Dena Hirchak joins us to run a workshop on how to make the Knitted Knockers! October is breast cancer awareness month, what better way to honor that than by making Knitted Knockers for charity. Bring US size 5 needles (DPNs or Circular for Magic Loop), we'll have yarn on hand for you to use and we'll have patterns available too, as well as Dena's expertise to guide you along. NBC News Channel 5's Abby Isaacs will be here for part of the workshop filming footage and doing a story on Knitted Knockers. We hope you'll join us for this fun event that will do so much good too!

Did you guess correctly, too?!
We have had a number of people who heard we were bringing in a great new (to us) line of yarns and some of them guessed correctly! It's official, Must Love Yarn will be a Quince & Co. Flagship Store! Our order just went in today, so it will be a week or so before we have the yarn, but we'll be sure to let you know when it arrives! What are we bringing in? Right now we will be stocking Finch, Chickadee, Lark, Tern and Owl. We'll be bringing in more of their wonderful yarns as we go, but we'll have a fantastic selection on hand!
