 We know that with the school holidays on and the possibility of some wet weather, you may be considering a trip to the movies or renting a DVD. Great idea.
But wait! In the past, you could rely on the rating given to a movie by the Censor to determine whether it was suitable or not for your family. But sadly, that's not the case any longer. We are constantly being contacted by concerned families about the content in both movies and on television. In fact, we got an email just this week from a concerned family who walked out halfway through a movie because of the shocking content despite its rating.
So we wanted to let you know about some great websites to protect your family - Focus on the Family's PluggedIn.com which reviews movies, tv series, music and games, MovieGuide.org, and of course our very own channel NZFamily.tv.
