Faculty & students can contact the Academic Technology Resource Center (559-278-7373) or stop by their office located on the second floor of the Henry Madden Library (HML 2131) Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm.

Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC)

The WAC Certificate Seminars are hands-on workshops where you'll develop assignments and classroom strategies that help your students produce more effective writing.

Teaching with Tech

Peer Evaluations

You can use the Blackboard testing feature for group evaluations. Students can evaluate themselves and their group members, creating an automatic grade for each. By using multiple answer questions, partial credit, and carefully crafted questions, students can establish equitable group credit.

Alternative Break Funding

Funding Available for Alternative Break Projects

The Richter Center is now taking proposals for Alternative Break funding. Alternative Breaks provide students with multi-day service opportunities where they work with peers. Projects must be coordinated by a leadership team comprised of a student and a faculty or staff partner.

Challenge yourself with the 4:1 (4 positive statements/interactions to every 1 negative statement/interaction) positive ratio challenge. When interacting with students in person or online, focus on positively stating what you want to see instead of focusing on what you don't want to see.
