The beautifully painted faces of Terri Lee dolls look like a portrait in oils gone 3D. They are among the most beautiful dolls ever made, and were produced between 1946 and 1962. According to doll reference.com, Terri Lee Associates was founded by some of the original creators in 1997, and is still making dolls from time to time, including a 1999 50th Anniversary Doll, produced in connection with Knickerbocker. K-Mart had its own version in vinyl, slightly smaller than the original doll, that they began selling in 2001.
