December 2017 ~ January 2018 Newsletter

You know, normally it is pretty hard to get in the Holiday mood in Tucson as one can never tell that it is winter when it's in the 70's outside and everything is blooming - again. Top that off with the fact that it's just me and my man here at our little place, there hasn't really been a desire to even get a tree over the last few years. This year was a little bit different, though. My granddaughter has inspired me to put up some lights in the patio and around the house. We're still not getting a tree but at least we feel like there may be hope for the future.

I would like to thank each and every one of you who have supported, encouraged and appreciated my efforts. You are the ones that have kept me going all year even through my surgery and other health issues. I appreciate YOU!

Totally Terri Lee

The beautifully painted faces of Terri Lee dolls look like a portrait in oils gone 3D. They are among the most beautiful dolls ever made, and were produced between 1946 and 1962. According to doll reference.com, Terri Lee Associates was founded by some of the original creators in 1997, and is still making dolls from time to time, including a 1999 50th Anniversary Doll, produced in connection with Knickerbocker. K-Mart had its own version in vinyl, slightly smaller than the original doll, that they began selling in 2001.
