Family Table Donations

Everyone should have enough nutritious food to feed their family. Family Table provides healthy food on a monthly and emergency basis to individuals and families in need.

KI collects canned salmon and whole grain crackers for donating to Jewish Family & Children’s Services.  Please place your donations in the wood box in the lobby of the Williams St entrance by the office and Library.

Magen David Adom Volunteering

Magen David Adom is Israel’s ambulance, blood-services, and disaster-relief organization, serving as emergency medical first responders for the state’s more than 8.5 million people. MDA is the only organization mandated by the Israeli government to serve in this role, but it’s not a government agency, so it relies on donations and gifts.

They are looking for volunteers to pick up and replace MDA collection cans in Brookline. If you are interested in this local volunteer opportunity, please contact Barbara Gershen-Swartz at doctorbarbara@comcast.net.
