Like Seaplanes?
I do too.
This email was sent to club members to gauge interest and figure out next steps of the viability of a seaplane at KOAK.
The prospect aircraft could be available for "co-op" owner use only.
Or... it could be that
and
a specialized leaseback to the AAC for club members seeking their ASES and more.
The logic of this "campaign" is based on the following:
More than a few members have asked me about doing their rating. (Adding their ASES.)
Yet, when they get their ASES added, there are no floatplanes to rent. (None within 1000+ miles of KOAK that I'm aware of.)
Amphibious floats would give flexibility in operations. (And equally importantly - maintenance.)
I'm prepared to help such a cooperative get started.
