November Newsletter

Last month we completed over 140 jobs! In this newsletter you will find a taste of the services that we have offered over this past month. If you have some similar work or have an interest in any parts or services please get in touch.
Aquablast
After running the Aquablast for a few months now, we noticed there was a need for the protection of mild steel components after the blasting process. After consulting with H&G Powder Painting, they recommended we speak to Olaf from All-Pro. He was extremely helpful and we have now introduced a basic passivation process that coats mild steel parts and prevents flash rusting before coating. Pictured here is a mild steel part that has gone through the passivation process. Check out our dedicated Aquablast Instagram for more "before and after" pictures - @aquablasting
Newsflash
We have recently updated our flyers! Please
get in touch if you are willing to display them on our behalf in your reception area or workplace.
Hopper Prototype
“The Hopper” as it is affectionately known is a perfect example of one of our prototyping jobs. We have been working on this project for the past few months. Taking it from a small-scale prototype to the full-scale monster that will be leaving our workshop this month. We developed the hopper as our customer was having a problem with his raw material clogging. This meant they could not deliver it into their mixer.  We came up with a design for this hopper with a vibratory board and a specially designed swivel valve that has great control of flow and very little load for the operator when opening or closing.  Please get in touch if you have a prototype idea!
Trade - BHS
Howard recently returned from visiting a client in Lusaka, Zambia. They are still running a 1962 model BHS complete corrugator line (B & C Flute).  This is the oldest running BHS corrugator in the world!  After 55 years of hard work it is still going strong producing corrugated cardboard in-house, and they are hoping to expand into selling to the local market. Clearly BHS represents German engineering at its best!  Dennes and BHS will be supporting them with spare parts and the manufacture of certain machine parts.  Please contact us if you have any corrugation machinery queries.
Scoreboard
This month we developed a modular designed scoreboard numbering system. These units can be purchased individually and have been manufactured with the ability to mount to existing scoreboards or directly to a wall. There is an added benefit of not having any loose parts that often are lost or misplaced. These units are made from 316 stainless steel and have been designed for outdoor use.
Check out this video of the scoreboard module in action!
